# Git Flow Lite, AI commits, and workflow polish

> Commit+ v1.0.4 adds Git Flow Lite, AI-generated commit messages, repository integrations, conflict-resolution improvements, and safer Git workflows.

`v1.0.4` · Released August 11, 2026 · [Compare with v1.0.3](https://github.com/Tranthanh98/macgit/compare/v1.0.3...v1.0.4)

## New features

### Git Flow Lite

Configure Main and Develop branches plus branch prefixes, then start and finish Feature, Bugfix, Release, and Hotfix workflows without leaving Commit+.

Work can stay in the current checkout or open in a dedicated worktree. The new dashboard shows active topics, while guarded recovery helps finish interrupted Release and Hotfix operations safely. See [Git Flow Lite](/features/git-flow).

### AI-generated commit messages

Generate a Conventional Commit-style message from staged changes with Apple Intelligence. The commit bar now includes provider selection and a Generate action, with settings for managing available AI providers.

### Repository bookmarks and integrations

Keep repository bookmarks available across signed-in Macs, configure external editors and diff or merge tools, and launch common repository actions directly from the toolbar.

## Improvements

* The conflict-resolution workspace now has an editable result buffer, syntax highlighting, clearer change highlights, navigation between conflicts, and undo support.
* Settings now include dedicated Appearance, Git, Integrations, Advanced, Account, and Update sections, including global pull/fetch preferences and current/latest version information.
* The sidebar has clearer branch hierarchy, Git Flow roles, worktree actions, and faster cached branch loading. Creating a nested branch now reveals its parent folders automatically.
* Search, history filtering, push setup, stash apply/pop, and commit drag-and-drop have been refined for faster and more predictable workflows.
* Repository and pull-request access now follows the signed-in plan while provider connections and credentials remain local-first.

## Fixes

* Rewriting a published tag can now be recovered by explicitly force-pushing only the selected tag to a chosen remote.
* Fixed crashes and invalid-state handling when starting or finishing Git Flow workflows.
* Improved branch deletion with explicit target selection and a force-delete option for unmerged local branches.
* Fixed menu bar action state, diff syntax highlighting, conflict editor behavior, and several drag-and-drop edge cases.
